A delightfully fun romp with an edge of magic and murder, Mortal Follies is a regency romance with a twist. It’s narrated by a modern-day Puck, who has been exiled from Oberon’s fae court and for the first time in his life has to face the ‘disastrous indignity’ of paying rent. For the sake of his publishing contract, he regales us with the memory of dramatic tale he once spied upon, revelling in romantic tropes and creating chaos.
